Wow! what a night for Mike Nagoda and The Spectrum Blues Band, Anthony joined them on his keyboard and they made great music all night. At the end of the first set they received applause and the second set a standing ovation. This all took place at Markham House in Mirvish Village.

The event was Bathurst United Church’s annual fund raiser featuring the music of Mike Nagoda and the Spectrum Blues Band. Funds raised at the concert will support Mike Nagoda’s studio recording sessions for Outside The Box. a unique, cross genre Blues album with LGBT themes, and Bathurst’s vision: Responding to the Spirit – Building Also Working for Justice including the Empowering Mental Health project.

Mike Nagoda and the Spectrum Blues Band consists of Mike Nagoda on his double slide guitar and vocals, D'Arcy Cain playing bass, Jeremy Ronson on drums and Anthony D'Alessandro on keyboards.

Of course I had to take pictures. While walking though the audience there was Nicole and her parents, Chris Birkett, co-producer of Mike Nagoda's second CD "Outside The Box" with his lovely wife Joan, Anthony's lovely girlfriend Avery and other familiar faces.

I would say that was a great evening for Mike and the guys.
