Soya Burgers

1/4 pound	soya beans, soaked overnight and boiled for one hour
1		vegetable stock cube
1 tablespoon	tomato puree
1		onion (minced)
1 tablespoon	soya flour
2 tablespoons	vegetable oil
a pinch		mixed herbs
1		chilli (optional)
to taste	salt and pepper
some		water
2 teaspoons	EnerG egg replacer

Mash the soya beans throughly, mix all the ingredients in except the
soya flour and the stock cube. Make a thick gravy with soya flour and
the stock cube. Blend the gravy with the other ingredients. Form into
burgers (preferably using a burger press), and fry till golden.

I haven't made this recipe for many years as I have succumbed to using
a packet mix. I hope I have remembered the ingredients correctly!
